02-04-2010, Woodbury Heights, Building, Chestnut Ave : County dispatched Woodbury Heights Fire at approx. 1515hrs for a reported working building fire, due to being called in by an off duty police officer who reported a working fire,  the all hands was struck on dispatch. Command arrived and confirmed a working fire in the center office section of a large warehouse. Companies were faced with heavy fire on arrival and attempted an interior attack. Due to fire conditions and water supply issues command struck the evac and crews went defensive. A tanker strike team was requested to assist with water supply. Multiple ladder pipes went in service and darken down the bulk of the fire. Crews then worked to knock the remaining hot spots placing the job around 1700 hrs. At appor 1900 hrs the Gloucester County tech rescue team was requested to assit on location with water removal via breaching walls. County FM on location for investigation, unknown on injuries.

02-04-2010, Vehicle, Williamstown, Monroe Twp., (Gloucester), Best Western Hotel : 2-4-2010 @ 830am, Best Western Hotel 1151 N. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown (Monroe Twp), Vehicle

On 2-4-2010 around 830am Station 29-1 and Squad 29-9 were dispatched to the Best Western Hotel for a report of a vehicle fire in the parking lot.  29-102 arrived and confirmed a working engine compartment fire.  Orders given to first due Engine 2911 were to stretch an 1 3/4" hand line.  Crews quickly knocked down the engine compartment while crews from Engine 2913 deployed a K-12 saw to open the hood.  Once opened the fire was placed under control.

02-03-2010, Fatal Dwelling, Pitman, Wildwood Ave, : Per    http://pitman281.webs.com/
At 04:06 District 28, RIC 22 were alerted to Wildwood Ave. for a Dwelling fire with entrapment.  Gloucester County Communications advised responding units that Pitman Police were on location and  had removed one victim and that one person was still trapped. 28302 arrived with heavy smoke showing. Ladder 281 w/5 arrived first due and went into service with a 1 3/4 and started a primary search. Engine 2832 arrived and supplied the Ladder and assisted with the search.  Crews encountered heavy fire conditions and a minor water supply issue and had to back out. After a water supply was established crews continued with the search.  After an extensive primary search crews located the victim and removed them from the residence. Rescue 281 w/6 set up on side "B" and streched two lines to side "C" while Engine 281 w/2 staged and sent manpower forward. 

Command (302) called for additional companies for manpower, bringing Engines from 261 (Glassboro), 103 (Washington Twp.), 231 (Mullica Hill), and a additional RIC from 391 (Elk Twp.)  Engines 291 (Williamstown) and 411 (Clayton) covered the district from 281. The incident was placed under control at 05:05.

Both victims were transported to Kennedy Hospital by GCEMS where one was pronounced dead and the other in critical condition.  The fire is under investigation by the Gloucester County Prosocuters Office and the Gloucester County Fire Marshals Office.

2-3-2010, MVC With Entrapment, Forest Grove, Gloucester County, Main Rd. and Forest Grove Rd. : Caller reported 1 car into a large gas pipe that was being installed in the area with one person trapped. Police arrived with one car, one person trapped with multiple compound fractures. With this Life Support 2 was added to the assignment. Rescue 43-58 arrived and quickly extricated the patient. Station 48-1 (Newfield) was also dispatched to the scene to direct traffic. BLS transported the patient to a local hospital. Sta. 48-1 units remained on location until the vehicle was removed.
